I have been a Registered veterinary nurse since 2018 and as such have achieved a wide range of specialised knowledge, experience and skill in the industry. I am deeply passionate about my work with the animals.
Throughout my work I have been very involved in animal behaviour and offer different services and advice for your pets.
Whilst working as a veterinary nurse I was also interested in applying natural therapies and combining them with my nursing background. Over the 5 years I have completed courses in Homeopathy and Bach Flower Essences with Naturopaths in perth.
I offer a range of remedies that will cater to the emotional wellbeing of your animal that are safe, effective and supportive.
Bach Flower Essences
Bach flower remedies are an alternative or complementary treatment that is used for emotional problems and pain.
They are energetic medicine.
They work on an etheric level to aid and facilitate and support healing.
Edward Bach, a physician and homeopath, created these remedies in the early 1900s. Homeopathy is the belief that the body can cure itself. It uses small amounts of natural substances like plants and minerals to treat the body or mind. The idea behind Bach flower remedies is similar to homeopathy. But they use fewer materials and don't work directly on physical symptoms, but instead on the emotions.
Bach believed that healing negative emotions helps the body heal itself. His system contains 38 remedies that each address a specific negative emotion. The emotions are grouped into seven broad psychological causes of illness:
Fear
Uncertainty
Lack of interest in present circumstances
Loneliness
Oversensitivity to influences and ideas
Sadness or despair
Cares for others at the expense of self
Basic Homeopathy
Homoeopathy is a natural healing medicine made from very dilute amounts of natural substances which gently encourages the body’s own ability to heal itself.
Homoeopathy is used and recommended worldwide by many physicians and can be used by animals and humans alike.
Because it is an energetic medicine it is a safe effective modality to support and encourage the body to heal itself with minimal intervention.
Natural Shampoo & Conditioner
This product was designed for all types of coats and skin sensitivities in pets. With the combination of essential oils and other 100% natural ingredients that are not harmful for your pets skin or even your own while washing them. The formula has a very subtle smell and leaves your pets coats feeling so smooth and even the essential oils act as a whitening agent for those animals with any staining. When designing this product I wanted it to cover all skin issues and found that most of our products on the shelves contain preservatives and foaming agents that can be harmful to immunocompromised animals skin.
Because this product doesn’t contain any foaming agents I also sell shower mitts as they work in brilliant combination when gently applying this product onto your pets, you also get better mileage from the soap.
Tea tree has been added, only very small amounts that are diluted so it can help kill any nasty fungal, mites or even deter fleas.
This shampoo and conditioner is what I use on all of my clients that are washed by me and have found such amazing results!
Calming Spray
This product is what started the whole idea of my business and is very much my best seller. The idea of creating a calming spray started when I was at working as a kennel hand, watching all of these anxious animals coming into the practice and becoming physically unwell from the ordeal. As I was working 1 on 1 with these animals it was my duty to ensure they felt comfortable and safe. There are a few senses that animals use more than we could ever imagine and one of their main ones is scent and I knew there was already a pheromone on the veterinary market that helped with animals stresses, but again this is full of preservatives. That is when I thought, why not create a scent that is proven to help dogs anxiety from natural ingredients, that is what spurred me to research into what is safe and non toxic to pets and discovered 100% essential Lavender oil was safe if diluted and humidified.
This product not only helps with its calming Lavender scent but it also contains Valerian which is also proven to help anxiety in not only our pets but us too. This product has absolutely blown some of my colleagues away with how well it works.
100% Pure Essential Oil- Calming
Essential oils are the oils derived from plants - stem, flower, leaf, root or bark.Essential oils work when inhaled (oil burners / room sprays / a drop or 2 on a tissue.It is believed the molecules stimulate the scent receptors in the brain which, in turn, trigger a response that influences heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, memory and hormones. Surveys suggest most of the population purchase essential oils solely as a means to fragrance their home/ office. But as time goes on people also realise the many therapeutic qualities of each of the oils. Healing Balm
Many products on shelves today are made with chemical solvents and synthetic additives - questionable substances that are directly absorbed into the body through the skin and over time may compromise our wellbeing.
This healing balm was designed for pets to help with any small abrasions, wounds or skin irritations (clipper rash) that may appear.
The formula has been thoroughly designed with ingredients like Turmeric to help inflammation and other soothing ingredients that wont be harsh to your pets skin or be a problem if ever ingested.
