Pet Grooming- Training
Training Overview
Grooming has been at the forefront of my career, it was my foray into becoming a nurse.
With over 10 years experience I’ve managed to hone my skills and master the art of not only transforming them into their best version of themselves but also encourage and nurture beautiful relationships, heal past handling/grooming traumas and make gentle safe friendships with a wide range of dogs and cats from all manner of backgrounds.
Whether you are grooming professionally or just wanting to save your pennys and groom your own pooch from home these workshops are fantastic, and will give you the confidence and skills to do so.
I can also support you with knowledge on sourcing equipment and what you need individually to set yourself up.
These are skill sets I am confident in teaching you,
-Confident handling techniques
-Recognising, reading and understanding behaviour
-Grooming skills and shortcuts
Classes will be held according to numbers and I can accommodate most days of the week
Minimum numbers are required to run a class with maximum is 4
The classes will run for a full day and lunch will be provided (dietary needs upon application)

You will again be able to practice basic bathing, drying and a clip if your feeling confident at this stage on some models
In this lesson you will also receive all the information on some of the breed clips I have been exposed to over my time in grooming regularly. Personally breed clips are my favourite so it will be a very fun lesson!

This lesson really focuses on answering those last questions and refining your skills. You are allowed to bring in your own pet for this lesson or if you would like to do a particular breed. This lesson is really all about advancing all the skills learned over the previous two lessons.
Lesson three will also consist of what you can do from home in case of an emergency for you pets.
Basic information of what you will need in order to start your own business including equipment and where to buy.
